When ABS-CBN caught up with Korina Sanchez last week, she explained that the objective behind her husband Mar Roxas’s electoral protest was not simply to seek the truth but also to check whether an automated election is still the way to go in 2013.

Korina remained optimistic despite Mar’s defeat in the previous elections. She believed that more opportunities would come his way even if the electoral protest that he recently filed still doesn’t turn in his favor. And as I said, he got half the votes so he gets to fight another day and I will support him whatever he decides.”

When asked how she makes Mar feel better amidst all his troubles at work, Korina revealed that she has always been supportive of his causes since they share similar principles in a lot of things. “Hahaha!

She then went on to assure Mar’s supporters that he will continue to help them in any way he can. “Of course I wish him luck and nagpapasalamat kami sa lahat ng bumoto kay Mar dahil yung labing apat na boto na yun, we cherish it.
