Korina Is Mar's Lucky Charm

FORMER Trade Secretary and K-4 senatorial bet Mar Roxas yesterday admitted that the budding romance between him and broadcaster Korina Sanchez is among the reasons why he has been upbeat these days.
"I'm so lucky to have Korina. Any man would be lucky to be given five minutes of her time," Roxas awkwardly told editors and reporters of the Journal Group of Publications during a visit here yesterday.
"We've known each other for many years. Basta kung ano ang sinasabi niya tungkol sa amin, iyon na po iyon," he added.
But the former trade secretary begged off when pressed to elaborate on his affair with Sanchez.
The Roxas-Sanchez affair started to capture the imagination of television viewers after it was reported that the two had a sparkling Valentines date in Baguio City recently.
To evade the question, Roxas proceeded to discuss his "Palengkenomics," the bedrock of his senatorial campaign.
