Don't worry, as I am not. Yes, it is shocking that such words could come out of anyone, especially a supposedly educated man such as he is. It proves to us that wealth and a surname do not speak of the quality of a man. Still I remain magnanimous because Mr. Lopez did himself the disservice. From what I gather he is not taken seriously by most so why should I? Although what he was quoted as having said is indeed libelous why should I waste my time pursuing it in court? The horror stories circulating about him are enough vindication.
In the meantime rest assured that all is well with Mar and me."
"Mr. Albertito Lopez, as far as I know, has no say in what goes on in ABS-CBN. He is an uncle of the owner, Mr. Gabby Lopez. But that's about it. If it is true the former congressman said such things then it is lamentable because while he speaks of decency he is a premier violator of the common, most basic notion of what the word means."

im in a feisty mood but i'l be calm as what korina did. the hell with mr. lopez (asshole!!!) he is a good for nothing son of a bitch... anyway, what he said does not carry weight but he ruined my week so he deserves to be lambastered. people like him deserve their place in timbaktu... i know i crossed the line but mr lopez should know better when he said those words against Korina...

Thanks for sharing, Tams! Like most of you, I admire Korina's treatment of the issue. I hope that the mileage Albertito Lopez aspired for by making such comments have come forth. At any rate, it's actually too much to dignify the words of a mentally-challenged person who, like what our friend Zandy said, had the nerve to talk of what will make a presidentiable when he himself can't win an election.
Korina has proven again how dignified a person she is.

Through the years, I have watched your shows and admired how you performed your job as a newscaster. How you tackled and dealt with issues, situations and people. How you try to be honest and true to yourself. How you guarded and ensured your repuation is not compromised. Lastly, I admired how you handled yourself and the sharp but true response you gave to Lopez. I do agree with you - name and money can never define or be parameters in the measurement of the quality and dignity of one person. Keep up the good work!
