SENATOR Mar Roxas and Korina Sanchez looked a perfect couple when they faced members of the entertainment press sa presscon organized by Mother Lily Monteverde at the Imperial Palace Suites the other night.
That they love each other even more now was very evident as they exchanged glances and touched each other’s hands.
Actually, both admit they are still in the “adjustment period.”
For example, kuwento ni Sen. Mar, there was a time na ang complaint ni Korina sa kanya tuwing umaga paggising nila ay his having more than his share of the blanket.
Alam na alam din daw ni Korina na naiinis siya tuwing napapansin niyang nakasimangot ito.
But Korina would always make up for it by posting a note of endearment, halimbawa, sa pintuan ng kanilang banyo.
“Ang sarap ng may-asawa, ha,” ani Sen. Mar. “I recommend it to everyone.”
Sinabi mo ’yan, ha, Sen. Mar. Why not recommend it to your presidentiable, Sen. Noynoy Aquino?

As for Korina, aniya, bilang asawa ni Sen. Mar, natutunan na niya when and how to keep her silence.
“Isang tingin lang ni Veanna (Fores, cousin ni Sen. Mar at talent manager to many a film star), alam ko na kung dapat o hindi kumibo,” susog ni Korina, who, as a tv host and newscaster, is known to be one of the most outspoken among her colleagues.
Korina gave up her public affairs shows sa ABS-CBN, though, for Sen. Mar’s ambition to become vice president.
Tanging Rated K na lang ang hinu-host niya every Sunday sa Dos.

As Sen. Noynoy’s runningmate, Sen. Mar beat his rivals sa isang nationwide survey na kinomisyon ni Rep. Ronnie Zamora.
Si Rep. Ronnie ay ally ng Nacionalista Party na ang kandidato for vice president ay si Sen. Loren Legarda.
Ang presidentiable nila ay si Sen. Manny Villar.
