Slimmer and younger-looking and not in any way the picture of the pe-rennially harassed radio-and-TV personality that she was before Mar Roxas came into her life, broadcaster Korina Sanchez now supposed-ly enjoys the luxury of a good night’s sleep and is not in any way pressured to wake up early to attend to her numerous commitments.
“For the first time in my life,” Korina states, “I can wake up late, attend to the needs of my husband and do some household chores in between without having to worry about deadlines and things like that.” Living with a sensible and mature man like Mar, she avers, happens to be a veritable joy. “I could now go to the market,” she says, beaming. “Cook for my husband, and do things my way without being pressured.”
Korina is simply ecstatic with the fact that her husband appears to be leading in the 2010 vice presidential race, ac-cording to surveys.
As a matter of fact, the SWS survey states that 47 percent of Filipino voters favor Mar, whereas only 31 percent will vote for his nearest rival Sen. Loren Legarda.
In that tête-à-tête for the press that Regal empress Mother Lily Monteverde tendered for Mar and Korina, it was also known that the feisty broad-caster was chosen as the most trusted personality of 2009, with a net trust rating of more than 50 percent in the June 2009 and September 2009 SWS surveys.
