MANILA, Philippines - Veteran broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez, wife of Liberal Party vice presidential candidate Mar Roxas, said she is going to accept the election result whatever it may be.
Sanchez, who decided to take a leave from broadcasting to help campaign for her husband, said that no matter what happens, she will be there as the number one supporter of Roxas.
Sanchez shared that her birthday message for her husband, who turned 53 on Thursday, was that Roxas will always be the winner in her life, and that she will continue to give him unconditional love.
Asked about her birthday gift to Roxas, Sanchez replied: "Taos pusong pagmamahal lang."

Sanchez who married Roxas in October last year, believes that support for her husband never wavered. She attributed the close race to the collapse of support for third placer Loren Legarda, whose survey ratings fell drastically in last three weeks of the campaign.
Korina said that until the end, they will continue to fight for Roxas's supporters.
"Maraming boses gusto pakinggan. Kahit ang lamang isa o dalawa, bibilangin namin yun!," Sanchez said.
