DZMM will celebrate its 18 anniversary with a concert called "Musikasaysayan" on July 30, to be held at Studio 1 of ABS-CBN Complex in Mother Ignacia, Quezon City. It will be broadcast over DZMM radio after TV Patrol.

We will hear Korina sing with Senator Mar Roxas and Ted Failon in a ligawan medly!

We will also hear performances from Vice President Noli de Castro, top anchors Tintin Bersola, Julius Babao, Kaye Dacer, Vic Lina, Joey Galvez, Alex Santos and Kuya Cesar. Political figures Sec. Joey Lina, senators Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan and Orly Mercado and ABS-CBN's EVP Charo Santos-Concio will also have their special numbers.

No word yet if it will be simulcast on channel 2 or ANC.

Sad News...

Korina Sanchez's dad, Ramon Sanchez died yesterday, July 15, 2004. Our deepest condolences to Korina and her family.

Mr. Sanchez's remains lie in state at the Santuario de San Antonio, Forbes Park Makati.

Due to insistent public demand, People Asia's July 2004 issue is now on its second reprinting! They printed 80,000 copies but that was sold out the minute it hit the magazine stands! So, now they are reprinting additional 20,000 copies and another 10,000 copies to be shipped to the United States.

Samantala, inihalintulad sa pelikulang Spiderman 2 ang benta ng pinakahuling edisyon ng magasing People Asia dahil pabalat nito sina Korina Sanchez at Sen. Manuel "Mar" Roxas.

Ayon kay Beth Mendoza, opisyal ng magasin, sobra umano ang dami ng mga nais bumili ng magagin. Sa katunayan, nakakatatlong imprenta na sila.

Unang inilathala ang edisyon na umabot sa 80,000 mga kopya. Dinagdagan ito ng 20,000 pang mga kopya at hanggang ngayon ay mayroon pang iniimprenta.

Naniniwala ang kompanya ng magasin na naging mabenta ang edisyon dahil sa interes ng mga mambabasa sa romansa ng dalawa.

Ayon kay Roxas, "Maganda ang relasyon namin ni Korina."

Sa panayam ng programang Breakfast sa Studio 23, sinabi ni Roxas na sabik siya palagi na makakwentuhan si Sanchez.

Sa panig ni Sanchez, sinabi ng brodkaster na handa siyang isakripisyo ang trabaho alang-alang sa pag-ibig sa tamang panahon at pagkakataon.

When Korina Sanchez arrived at around 10:50pm, she was only able to greet Mar briefly before going off to mingle with other guests. When Mar's young supporters asked if they could have their picture taken with him, he crossed the room, pulled Korina to her feet, and sat with her on the floor to pose with the young kids.
